Faded Glory
Having looked forward to our Lisbon visit, we were very disappointed with the hotel's main entrance. This first impression was not good; it looks and feels like the tradesman's entrance with a flight of steep stairs immediately at street level followed by a small, claustrophobic l lift to the 1st floor reception. We received an enthusiastic welcome from the young man on reception but the rest of our stay was less than mediocre. The building is very tired, the furnishings old fashioned, the beds so hard we couldn't sleep and both had sore backs for days afterwards. £314 for two days of discomfort does not represent good value. I am unable to recommend this hotel despite it being very well situated. Such a disappointment.

Our downtown Lisbon hotel experience
There was a constant problem with the WiFi access, otherwise the location is perfect; everything else can be tolerated.
