The hotel is in a central location, close to all the shopping and the square. We were able to walk everywhere needed within 10 minutes. The hotel has been recently renovated and was very safe and nice. It still has the historic vibe to it but was very clean. It has an elevator and AC. The breakfast was also very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was extremely friendly. But- I emailed ahead of time and asked how best to get to hotel and they said private boat taxi was easier but didn’t say it was really the only way- otherwise lots of steps. And taxi takes you right there. We were put in the non- renovated section and there was a bathtub that was impossible for my mom to get into for the shower. Room was musty. They nicely changed us the next day. The old section also doesn’t have an elevator. Big difference! Ask to stay in newer side. Breakfast was good and staff were so friendly.
