stay was ok
Stay overall was good. Hotel was clean and quiet. However, the mattress was uncomfortable and gave my wife and I bad backaches every morning. The staff overall wasn’t very friendly with the exception of one front desk clerk. Also are room was very warm due to a temperature control sensor that we couldn’t change the setting on.

Not that bad but could have better
It really wasnt too bad of a stay. I received a call from them asking if i would change rooms because someone else needed our one room. Which was fine but i would have thought maybe they would have took a little off the price for the inconvenience but they didnt. Which is ok . I know because of covid things had to be different but we had no housekeeping all weekend . We had tonasknfor our towels , garbage bags , etc. And had to keep our trash in our room for the entire stay. Like i said thebstay wasnt bad but it really could have been better even with covid.

I was very happy that the hotel and staff were taking mask regulations/social distancing so seriously. I see other reviews about not having breakfast, the pool being closed, and housekeeping during your stay. However, i appreciate that thoughtfulness during COVID-19. I would not eat at a buffet breakfast or swim in a public pool right now anyways and I'm glad the hotels prevents everyone from spreading what they potentially might have. The Perkins right outside the hotel was offering a discount to make up for the breakfast being closed. The room was clean and the beds were clean. I watch a lot of "Hotel Impossible" so i even wiped the top of the picture frames above the beds for dust/dirt and was pleased to find nothing. A hotel that pays attention to those little details is exactly where i want to stay. My only complaint was the mattress and the pillows. The mattress was very uncomfortable which caused me to wake up sore every morning. The pillows were lumpy and definitely need to be replaced. I would stay here again without a doubt. Overall very good stay.

Would not stay here again
Due to COVID, the breakfast and pool were closed. I mention this because I have stayed at 4 hotels over the pandemic and their breakfast and pools were open, with limitations. No change in price of the room, without all amenities available. Upon entering the room, the first thing noticed was the garbage had not been emptied, so other people’s garbage was left in the room. When the shower was run, it promptly filled as the drain was not working correctly. I called down to the desk and was offered to switch rooms (at 2:30 am), but no refund/partial refund could be given.

Bad customer service
After checking in my son and approached the elevator with our bags..he forgot his mask snd the lady at the desk was screaming at us for him to put a mask on. She humiliated us and her screaming was uncalled for..at that point if i hadnt already paid i would have went to another hotel. I will never go there again. Also the pool& gym were closed..no breakfast. My room had coffee pods but no cream and sugar

The chairs in the room were soiled, had dried food and smelled. The bathroom had a shower chair that had hair on it and was visibly dirty like it hadn't been cleaned. No options or notice for amenities not provided that was part of reservation. 10% discount at local restaurant doesn't make up for no breakfast.
