The room was terrible dirty carpet ripped shower curtain we came to take my mom to u of M hospital for open heart surgery. The toilet was not cleaned diarrhea inside very disgusting and looked like feces on the wall!! We got a different room that had bugs we sprayed disinfectant everywhere could not move again too much!! Feel I should be compensated we needed a clean room for my mom!! Not Covid clean at all!! I’m a flight attendant and have stay in numerous hotels all over the US have never seen anything like this!!

my stay
a couple family used the pool 2 of 3 days i stayed and they left trash was not cleaned. security getting into the facilities was not maintained well. laundry had no sign about leaving a door open. just a sign saying wash and dry at your own risk. with that being said the staff was amazing, patient, and went above and beyond. the hotel its self was fairly clean. except for the kids, quiet.

Filthy - first sent to a room that was already occupied- that was scary!! Second room, takes multiple swipes to get key reader to work. I noticed tons of cigarette butts and trash in the parking lot and multiple people loitering in and around the building. Noticed same people loitering in lot when I returned from U of M on the evening. Noticed that there was a staff member of some sort, possibly a case manager, meeting with the same individuals in the lobby of the hotel. I asked the front desk if there was a nursing home or a group home of some sort with in hotel and was informed that they are sheltering people in conjunction with the county. I think that’s a great idea, this is an old hotel with plenty a rooms And could certainly be used for social and human services initiatives. It would have been nice to know this upfront though, so that I could’ve made an informed decision as to whether I wanted to stay in this type of hotel/program.

Nice. Police did come in the middle of the night. Some sort of smoke detected. No major issue. Just very strange at 3am. Also, front desk worker was outside smoking when we came to get our grab and go breakfast.

I would like to have my charge card reflect a reimbursement for the March 11th-12th dates I did not use because of my inability to contact to cancel that appointment. I was forced to pay for the correct dates (March 10th-11th) . I was unable to reach when I checked in at around 10:00 pm to cancel my initial appointment.

First time visit.
I was very impressed by the entire format of the Hotel. One of my daughter's is in a wheelchair & she had the perfect room on the first floor by the pool. The only thing I didn't like was that my grand children didn't get a chance to go swimming the next morning because the pool area had not been cleaned out properly & too many children were unsupervised.

They didn't have a good breakfast. With covid it was a bag breakfast with just a pack of cinnamon crackers fruit cup and orange juice. They are supposed to have only 15 people in the pool at a time and they had 30+. They were playing with the life saving equipment and the staff wouldn't do anything about it. They trashed the pool area and staff never cleaned it

Proximity to U of M medical center was the selling point to me as not familiar with the area. Older building but very clean. Several bums outside the check in area cat calling young’s girls.

Needs remodeling, outside trash everywhere.
The hotel was very outdated. We had a two bedroom suite without a door to separate the rooms. The beds weren’t comfortable and the pillows were very flimsy. It was a non smoking room but the bathroom smelled like smoke. The bathroom was extremely tiny. The second bedroom didn’t have a refrigerator where there was room for one. This hotel needs a major remodeling. For the price the room wasn’t worth it. The hot tub was closed. The restaurant and bar were closed because they aren’t busy enough is what I was told by staff which is unacceptable. There aren’t windows to the outside and only windows to the interior for our rooms. Trash was everywhere outside in the parking lot that needs picked up. We will not recommend this hotel and wouldn’t stay again.
