Treated like a second class guest
Upon arrival, I mentioned requesting a first floor room and was told my room was on the second floor. When I explained that I had requested a handicapped accessible, 1st floor room and had a handicapped friend with me, the clerk looked up the reservation. He then said, "it looks like you booked through a third party". "When you book through a third party, the hotel makes the decision of what room you get." We were not only on the second floor, we were two rooms from the end of the hallway at the far end from the elevator. It made for a very difficult stay for my friend. Aside from this, the hotel was clean and comfortable, however, if you book through a third party, you're evidently a second class guest.

Fine hotel, excellent customer service
The customer service was superb! Had to make a reservation change on a non refundable online reservation and the customer service representative was very helpful. Then called to get early check in and was greeted to the same excellent customer service. Check in was friendly and quick. Room and hotel was clean and updated. Pool was fine, breakfast was as expected. When we contacted the desk with any needs they were very quick to assist. Overall the hotel was good and the customer service was excellent!

Get what you pay for
We always stay here on our way home to Minnesota, but not sure we will again. Checkin was just okay, unprofessional, key cards rarely worked, couldn't sign in to wifi without desk clerk having to text her manager and get a special code. I spilled some water on bathroom floor, and when i wiped it up with the bath mat, it was filthy. On the positive side, rate was good, bed was comfortable, buffet breakfast sufficient for our morning start.

Hotel was good, stayed for a family wedding. Some of the rooms smelled a bit musty but otherwise it was solid.

Needs improvement
We’ve been staying here for the past 7 years when we come in town. The breakfast has gone wayyyy downhill. One can see through the bacon it’s THAT thin. And the little pre-made omelets used to be pretty good..not anymore. The turkey sausage was pretty gross so we’re rethinking where we stay. It’s not the difficult to have a decent breakfast. And the cleaning staff needs to up their game...out tub was not very clean. They never ever have the cookies when we’re there, though other Hamptons always do. We had our dog but nothing is given to us for treats, bowls or anything. I stated we had her with us. Rethinking where we stay.
