Great place for backpackers - not for us
Selina practically pulsates with a youth vibe: loud music, people playing ping pong, cash payments for everything (no charging to the room). The staff were all young. A few were attentive, but most were not. The best thing about the hotel is that it sits on an amazingly large and beautiful piece of land. There are great health and fitness opportunities: two swimming pools, yoga and exercise classes, workout rooms. We did enjoy our room. It was incredibly spacious, with a loft for the bed. We were on the top floor at the back of the building, so we had a beautiful view of trees and mountains. Unfortunately, the elevator broke down a lot, making it difficult to haul luggage up and down. Also, the room wasn't very clean. Someone came each day to make the bed and replace amenities, but they didn't sweep the floors or empty wastebaskets. Unlike the typical breakfast buffet, Selina serves an identical cooked breakfast for everyone. Beyond breakfast, they have a limited menu and poorly prepared dishes. Although we didn't see it, we think the complex included a hostel. The hotel basement had a shared kitchen that had seen better days. It was most likely for people at the hostel.

4/10 Fair

I reserved a tour for the day after and ended up waiting for the guide to show up for 30mins with no luck. I contacted the person at the reception and found out the guide had forgot about me. Second day I was told breakfast will be starting 6:30 so I ended up buying the breakfast coupon the day before and found out when I can for breakfast that it was not before 7:30. I had to leave for my plane at 7 so it was a waste. Hotel was nice and clean - unfortunately the service was extremely horrible and unprofessional.

10/10 Exceptional

Selina Bariloche was a highlight of our trip to Argentina. The place itself is beautiful and the people working there were fantastic. Ampi went above and beyond and was a pleasure to work with. The amenities and food/drink were amazing and we truly enjoyed spending time at Selina. Parking was free and easy and the location of the hotel is perfect. Just a short walk from downtown Bariloche and an easy drive to all the outdoor activities in the area. Don't think twice about booking here. Just do it! You won't regret it!

It's cool, but expect a cold shower
I've been to Selina's before. It's a concept. It has a young atmosphere and friendly staff. This stay was not the best as the public showers / WCs were a bit dirty and weren't the most private. It was also cold to take a shower as the room was not heated. You couldn't really do it in our motorhome either as the floor instantly would turn into a pool. So maybe not for autumn/winter but overall it's a cute spot that I'm sure many would enjoy during summer!

No entregaron la habitación abonada, dieron una más pequeña. Baño sucio con pelos de otras personas, cama con sábanas manchadas. Desayuno bueno
