horrible experience: bugs and cigarette smoke
Room they gave us upon check in at 9:30 p.m. was reeking with cigarette snow... they had no other rooms. We tried to sleep in this room reeking of cigarette smoke—a horrible experience. They was also a giant wet spot on the carpet near the sink, the room overall was dirty, and the only reason I didn't immediately go find another hotel was because we had been driving for 4 hours and it was way past my two young daughters' bed times. I tried to make the most of it, which was a mistake. We barely got any sleep. There were homeless people hanging around outside, too. The kicker: in the middle of the night, I killed three bugs near the sink area. One of them was quite large, might have been a cockroach. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life...

Hmm..needs improvement on breakfast, tongs,signs
The room was clean however the bed was not comfortable to my husband who rarely complains about anything! The breakfast was nothing like the La Quinta Inn by Wyndham in Clovis. NO eggs, sausage. Only one waffle maker and ran out of orange juice?? Had to wait on milk for cereal. Folks were picking up bread to make toast and putting it back as there was no one monitoring the area.

Horrible!
This was the worst La Quinta I’ve stayed at. We left and got a refund. Room had roaches and rooms are not inside building. Doors open to parking lot to crack heads.
