Small Boutique Kensington Hotel
We chose a hotel in the Kensington area so that we could walk to Hyde Park and several museums. The Resident was very conveniently located near the restaurants, shops, and Tube station at Earls Court. The staff were very nice but our room was smaller that we expected. The bathroom was fine and there was a mini refrigerator, small microwave,, a kettle, and a small coffee maker that allowed us to have snacks and breakfast in our room. However, sitting to eat was somewhat cramped. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay but would look for a more spacious room in the future.

Not far from Earls Court tube, but in retrospect would have booked closer to the museums. Good service, helped us figure out the bathroom controls.

Perfect hotel experience!
I can honestly not say enough good things about The Resident! It’s such a cute, charming hotel in a gorgeous neighborhood - a nice change from the standard major hotel chains. The room was so comfortable and well taken care of. But the absolute best part was the staff - I felt so well taken care of the entire time, from the handwritten note at check in, having my stored bags already moved into my room when I arrived to check in, to the little bag of Easter candy left on my door handle on Sunday morning. I absolutely loved my stay at The Resident and will be sure to stay here every time I return to London!

8/10 Very good

This hotel was perfect for our stay in London. Right by the Earl's court/district line underground stop, which allowed us to get to all the places we wanted to. Plenty to eat in the area. Removed from the busy street, so was quiet for sleeping. Small rooms, but we knew that going into it. We did not spend much time in the hotel at all. I thought the pillows were pretty flat and the mattress needing a swapping out, but otherwise, we enjoyed this place very much. Great value.
