Friendly staff. A condom wrapping was found on the floor. We booked a room for 3, the extra bed added was of poor quality. Only towels for 2 and not for 3. Great view, breakfast well organised to accommodate the coronavirus situation. No parking, difficult to find a place near the hotel

Staff issues, not enough staff on check in and during the stay. Service not customer orientated, rude and abrupt!

Ideally located in the heart of Tromsø for all activities/pick-ups. Staff super friendly and helpful. Pizza place next door is great for early dinner prior to Northern Light hunting

tromso’s radisson blue is a functional, comfortable hotel falling clearly behind direct competition in town (also tried during same trip) Breakfast and service is very good, but not excellent (r.g. Staff refusing to help non hotel resident stuck in snow in front of hotel, long queues for average coffee...). The room is very comfortable, but toilets are poorly designed (shower is a mess) and views /street noise were a negative to the room (which is almost mission impossible in Tromso!). Room cleaning at 9am should be banned... specially during aurora hunt season (and expected late nights). Location of the hotel is excellent. All in all, mixed feelings about one of the most expensive hotels in town. Not sure that is the way it should be.

WhenI return to Tromso in six months, I will be staying again at the Radisson. My husband and I had a top floor water view, we could see the Arctic Church and the cable car and all of the lights. The room was a bit on the small size but so it goes... water pressure was great, again smallish shower stall. A single sex (read: nude!!) sauna was on the tenth floor, through the workout area and into the women’s bathroom. Heavenly. With a view the same as from our room! Breakfast was amazing. It was always tight seating quarters the closer to morning tour departure time, but we always found a table. The front desk was helpful enough. I never quite found an easy orientation as they were giving landmarks and directions but it’s a small town and you rally can walk a lot of places. Mass transportation is outstanding. I utterly fell in love with Tromso.

Breakfast was great at this hotel with a gluten free selection 😀. The hotel was so centrally located, even though Tromsø isn’t big but it was good to be right in the centre! Easy move about and terrific to see the mountain and the fjords right outside. Would definitely recommend although we booked for a 3rd bed but that was very uncomfortable, ended up putting the mattress on the floor.
