    Imperial Hotel

We stayed at Imperial Hotel in Blackpool, in the Royal Suite. It was an amazing room, very spacious with a living room, two bedrooms and a big bathroom. It had amazing floor to ceiling bay type windows overlooking the sea. Absolutely amazing views. The only downside to my stay was that there was no air conditioning and the room was absolutely baking!!! We stayed overnight on 22nd July 2021 and the weather was very hot that day. I asked the hotel for fans but they had none in stock. I assumed with it being a large hotel they would have brought some more in. We had to leave windows open during the night and as a result we could hear people shouting and talking loudly as they were outside the front of the hotel. Didn't get a good nights sleep. Another slight concern was that on arrival there had been no cot set up and I had to chase for this twice. When I called reception no one picked up so I had to call them a few times. The carpets looked worn and slightly unclean. I think the hotel could do with a make over and perhaps make it more modern. On arrival they should have more information such as phone numbers to call internally if we need help, menu choices for room service and check out times. For our dinner service they gave a family of 4 a small table so we felt squashed in terms of plates and drinks and cutlery. The service was good though and they came took plates away that had been finished with. Basically they were on hand. Breakfast choices not that great.

We travel to Blackpool every year on a family trip, and usually stay at the imperial. Our room was lovely apart from the bathroom where the shower was dodgy with the water as went hot and cold very quickly. Cleanness was bad as it’s during Covid you ain’t allowed any service to your room so bins ain’t emptied and also having to go down for towels which is fair enough. Breakfast wasn’t the best either. The cold part was lovely with the fresh fruit and cereals but the cooked part was disgusting where in the end my son couldn’t eat. Was meant to return in October but not sure if we will. Staff are lovely and very attentive

    Just okay!!

Was given a very small twin room with poor facilities, stained carpets, etc., complained and reception were very helpful and changed immediately to a larger clearly renovation room. Although still older style. Beds were very comfy, pillows and bedding good, towels new and clean. Breakfast okay. Afternoon tea was good value for money. Parking £9 per night.

    Lovely stay

We did not identify any problems with cleanliness. Very good COVID precautions were in place thought out the hotel and restaurant. Food individually wrapped and served during the buffet breakfast. Lovely choice of cooked breakfast items.Very polite staff. A little entertainment would have been nice.
