Sub par service in a nice hotel
So I understand the corona virus is a thing, but we didn't receive the amenities that were supposed to be included with the price of the room. There was supposed to be a nice breakfast, an evening mixer in the bar with complimentary drinks, etc. These were all cancelled. The restaurant/bar was closed and didn't even offer room service ordering, which was disappointing because the entire city was basically shut-down and dining was difficult to find. They wouldn't even look in the bar to let us borrow a corkscrew to open our wine. "Go buy one at QuikTrip" is what we were told. Our room wasn't cleaned and we had to ask for towels (although the towels did arrive promptly upon request). The room was nice, clean and comfortable and the hotel itself is attractive and has a nice atmosphere. They charged $20 a night for parking, which was not clear on the listing. One would think they could waive the parking fee at least, considering we already we're not getting what we paid for. They were unwilling to make adjustments despite the extraordinary circumstances. All in all it was a decent stay, but when you're taking away things that are supposed to be included you should give your guests something to make up for it. 8/10 facility and cleanliness. 3/10 service. I might stay there again, if I can't find something else.

Poor 2,0
Disgusting hotel. First room, the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. Body hair on the floor which disgusted me. The second room had a cleaning rag that was left by the curtains, something g sticky on the bathroom door and the carpet was so gross could not even walk on it. I put toilet paper around the bathroom handle so we don’t touch that disgusting thing. The bed was lumpy and I couldn’t sleep because the ac/heat was not working properly. I booked two nights and there was no way we were staying two nights. I wouldn’t even let my Kids eat the breakfast there. I have stayed in Embassy suites before and this hotel was an insult to the embassy suites name. The worst part is, I was charged for both nights in this crappy hotel. The hotel Management needs to go down to the Marriott and see how a proper hotel is run. The reviews were right. Un clean disgusting hotel. Stay away.

No hot water.
Hotel was ok, but one issue was a big one. There was no hot water. It was not extremely cold weather either so not sure why there was no hot water.

Poor 2,0
Horrible - on so many levels.
Horrible experience - we couldn't believe it. I've stayed at Embassy many times, and typically choose it because we enjoy the larger suite rooms, the evening reception, the breakfast and the hot tub area. Everything was a complete mess from the moment we tried to check in to the hotel. The front "loading" area was full of parked cars, everyone was stuck - they couldn't go forward, and couldn't back out - it was creating a traffic jam and people were getting very frustrated. Upon check in, the gal checking us in was beyond unfriendly, and couldn't care less we were there. The room was cleaned very wonky, seemed dirty and smelled like sewage. We left to walk around the plaza and when we came back at 9 hoping to get in the hot tub, there was about 30 children jumping from pool to hot tub, and back and forth, screaming. We went to room, but all night long, kids were playing tag and screaming until MIDNIGHT (when their quiet time starts). Breakfast was a complete disaster - there was food everywhere, sticky floors, and all they had was eggs and potatoes for hot food. No oatmeal, no fruit, pancakes, waffles, nothing else. They also had the omelet station, which was about 18 people deep if you wanted to stand in line. The floor was sticky everywhere, the soda/water machine was broken, there was cereal all over the floor and counters, and the coffee was like mud. Oh, and a guy threw his bfast plate at his wife and cussed her out. I will never stay at an Embassy again.

Biggest concern was they had trouble finding my reservation and then it was incorrect. Breakfast as terrible. Crowded and dirty. Not worth the money

Good, not great.
1st night jacuzzi was warm, not hot. Wasn’t excited to pay $20 to park on-site but the free happy hour drinks/snacks made up for it. Poor water pressure in the shower. Nice room, disappointed balcony door didn’t open. Nice breakfast. Jacuzzi was warmer 2nd day. Overall, nice stay.

I really enjoy staying at The Embassy Suites near The Country Club Plaza. It’s a great location, the room is nice and roomy. My absolute favorite is the breakfast that is included with the room price. It’s a family-friendly hotel,I have yet to utilize all the amenities available.Despite being a little dated in some areas it’s still a nice place to stay.I stayed on Thanksgiving night,so you had to have patience while waiting for the elevators because the hotel has several floors.I personally like the open concept inside the hotel walking directly to my door and not down a long dark hallway. The hotel staff have always been professional and accommodating.I live in Kansas City so I go here for a mini-staycation.
