Profile: Downtown Santa Fe

Downtown Santa Fe is home to the sand-colored New Mexico Museum of Art, located just off the ever-bustling Plaza, and set in an enchanting Pueblo Revival building from 1917 with curving adobe walls and protruding timbers. The museum includes 2 sculpture gardens, works by regional and international artists, and a fine collection of photography.

If you’re in the mood for some shopping, visit the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market at the Railyard, open year-round on Saturdays, and during the summer months on Tuesdays. The market has a splendid selection of local produce as well as baked goods, cut flowers, and crafts.

Nice hotel and overall happy with my stay. However, I felt the carpet could have been cleaned better as there were dog hairs visible. Granted Ccn I was hyper aware because I am allergic to dogs and dats

    Costly for the overall service

Nice hotel and location. Service could’ve been better. Costly for the return, no room service including cleaning until the fourth night. Restaurant was closed during our stay.

    Centrally located 2 night stay

Very centrally located. Can walk to the plaza and surrounding businesses. Parking is convenient but costs $22 per day. Hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool was closed during our stay but the sign said it may reopen soon.

    No wi fi, parking inconvenient

Parking does not work without scanning the room key. It should be mentioned in the drive way or informed prior to arrival. Otherwise, backing the car in the constricted area was a pain. So, this shows this Hilton does not care for the guest's comfort.

Running water noise, not Hilton’s problem

We checked in at noon and.eft to eat and spend the afternoon and evening out. Upon returning to the room about 8:30p.m. we heard water running and determined it was coming from the room next to us. It sounded like a noise you would hear in a bathroom. After waiting a good period of time we called the front desk and they said they would have someone down immediately. About 15 minutes later the sound stopped but only for about a couple minutes. So we called again and shortly a person from the front desk came down and said sorry but that noise is coming from the H VAC system as he pronounced it, not sure why he just didn’t say hvac, and there was nothing he could do as this is an old building and all the rooms were like this. I said nothing you can do or nothing you care to spend the money on doing?ALL THE ROOMS? And all the rooms were full. I said I wasn’t going to spend $200 for a couple hours sleep and a shower. He said we could check out and not charge us. I said, at 10 p.m. that’s your solution? When we checked in there was a person at the counter explaining that the prior evening he was trying to do business and the internet and or phone would not work and nothing was done. Her line as the persons line to me seems to be “I’m sorry, but there is nothing we can do. My god, this is a Hilton. I am now in the process of disputing the charge. Never again a Hilton!
