Guys weekend.
The room was comfortable. The bathroom was too small. Still under renovation. Our room was about 1/8 mile from the lobby with no elevator access. Beds were very comfortable. Needed frig and microwave for the price.

Hurry up and Finish!
I was staying with friends to volunteer at IRI being held in Lawrence Central High School. The price was right so I booked it. The location was very familiar as I stayed at the America's Best Inn next doors and what I was told about THAT place (and the hotel next to it) affected how I perceived this hotel.I told my friend Nikki that I didn't want her going outside alone at night and she agreed. Outside of security concerns the room was fine an d wifi worked. I'll give a pass on all the construction. It looks like you guys are really trying to build something really nice just hurry up and finish it before your business goes someplace else!

A Pleasant Gettaway
We wanted a short anniversary gettaway, and so we decided on Indianapolis. This hotel was a good price and close enough to the city to get in and see some of the sights we wanted to visit. We first had trouble finding the hotel because they are doing renovations and did not have a very prominent sign outside and the lobby required driving behind the building that had the name of another hotel on it. Once we found it, we had a nice room, which was clean and comfortable, but very simple- no decorations, no coffee pot, wifi which was slow but functional, etc. No extras, but still very comfortable. Our gettaway was about seeing the area so we weren't bothered. There were some good eating places nearby, especially a local diner called The Four Seasons. It was always crowded and had great service people and was very friendly- great breakfasts! The hotel was a nice place to come back to and sleep, so it served our purpose well!

Not happy with this one.
When we arrived, there was someone else's trash in the trash can. There was limited amenities in the room...not even a coffee maker, which the website indicated was there. It only had a small desk with a chair to put items on. No dresser, no table, etc. There was a very small vanity in the bathroom, so most of our bags were on the floor the entire time. It looked old, but clean. We got hot in the night. The air conditioner read 68 degrees, but we were not feeling it. We hated having to go outside and walk to the back of the building to enter the lobby area (which was still under construction) for breakfast. The breakfast was good, but not a lot of choices. We were misled that this was some new hotel. Don't be fooled by the name. It was a La Quinta, and it still looks like an old La Quinta on the inside.
