After years of giving them benefit of the doubt, this visit was the final straw. We will no longer be staying here. “Upgrades were supposed to be done years ago, but their idea of upgrade is gluing a frame to bathroom mirror, new shower rods (broken surrounds) toilets that never stop running with valve stopper being corroded “. The exterior wood is falling apart and looks rotted in many places. The “gentleman” at the front desk was not helpful when it came to expressing problems, didn’t even know if the password needed to be in CAPS or not for the WiFi.

I loved the set up of the room we stayed in, it had a full kitchen and provided everything you could need. The beds could be updated and a little bigger.sone of the morning staff members could have been a little more friendly and not minded checking my room at 830 when I was trying to check out and since I put cash down for a deposit I was needing them to check room to get it back and she kept saying I would have to wait til 11, but the gentleman was nice and ran to check it out and gave me back my deposit.

My family and I attended a funeral. We rented two rooms and a third family individually rented their own room. In the two rooms I reserved there were not enough towels. The TVs kept defaulting to an unviewable status and had to continuously be reset. There was not enough bed linen for sofa beds. When a blanket was originally requested, the member of my party was given sheets to use to cover up on the sofa bed. The batteries in the smoke alarm in my room had to be replaced (attendant initially tried to convince me the constant beeping was b/c the room was smoke free, which wasn't true. Batteries were low.). Other guests played loud music at night, or argued loudly outside. Based on the condition of the facilities, it's apparent individuals live for extended periods of time on the property. The wear and tear are quite visible. From my balcony I saw exposed wood. Electrical sockets in my room did not work. Handles on the furniture were broken. No hangers were available. Many cracks in the tile on bathroom floor. Quite frankly, the facilities have been run-down and consistent, adequate, maintenance is not occurring. Some of the individuals living on the premises seem somewhat "transient." Having the Wyndham name associated with this facility is facility is misleading to customers. There were also damaged walls and dirty curtains.

Had to brush a cockroach off of the couch. People are living here due to them being more like apartments. Kids running around outside. Stains on couch, bed and low lighting.

We stay here every time we are in town. Although it is a bit outdated, The Hawthorn is comfortable and we love having the full kitchen.

The staff was helpful and prompt, the room was clean and large but not as crisp as the photos online. The room was older and a bit run down with that 'older room' smell. Overall it was satisfactory and cheaper than two rooms for my family. It is a decent stay for the money.

The hotel needs updating. If you open curtains and look up and find water damage that needs repaired. Paint and actual wall bubbles and separated. Vents need dusted badly. Parking lot has a BIG POT HOLE ruined my alignment since arrived late at night.
