6/10 Good
05 June 2023
Sleeping is fine, anything else is a trial.
There's nothing notably wrong with the hotel, it is what it is. A small off city centre hotel, packing as much in as it can. But the rooms are tiny, don't think about swinging any cats.
This does create a slight discomfort if you are doing anything other than sleeping. (no chairs to relax or a proper desk.
On the upside it is close to the tube and easy access to tourist spots, also its affordable.
Walls are also quite thin, and the doors don't stop light intrusion from the corridors. Staff seem a bit disinterested, and often could be heard chatting in the corridors while guests are (trying) sleeping.
I was woken at 7am by painters masking off the walls, for some repair that could have been done later.
The facilities are minimal. Not sure that I class this as 3 stars.
