Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista, Former Clarion Inn LBV

The room was overall pretty clean, but there was a dead spider in one of thw beds and a stain on the sheets. When we called down for batteries for out tv remote it took them two hours to bring us some.

Bed was a little uncomfortable. I would definitely bring my own pillow next time. Kids enjoyed the pool. A lot of noise from the highway outside of my room.

I'll preface this review with the fact that I've had great stays at the Rosen Plaza and Rosen Centre hotels. We booked the Rosen Inn because of the price, location and my previous experiences with Rosen properties. We called the day before to get rooms on the lower level, which they put in the notes. We called ahead the day of check in to let them know we'd be checking in late in the evening so we wouldn't have our rooms given away. We ended up checking in around midnight. We ended up with rooms on an upper level. Upon reaching the rooms, we found the first room with a laundry cart in the room and one bed full of black dots. We went to the other room to call about the problem and found the second room in even worse condition. Not made up, dirty linens, dirty bathroom and horrible smell. I had to go to the front desk to deal with the problem. Since the hotel was full, they sent us to one of the other Rosen properties which was fantastic. I understand this property was recently purchased by Rosen and is still not up to Rosen standards. I would steer clear of this location until the Rosen standard has time to take effect. The receptionist at check in was very helpful in relocating us to the other property.

Sliding door leading to bathroom area was broken but the worst part was the room had a very strong moisture smell. Did not feel confident that the room was cleaned well if they were willing to give us a room that smelled so bad. Had we not been staying for one night or just arriving after a long drive we would have left immediately.

It was fine. The rooms are dated, kind of beat up but were clean overall, though I did notice some iffy towels/washcloths. Staff was friendly. Other guests were a bit annoying. Some were revving motorcycles at 2 am, but you’ll get all kinds of people when the prices are as low as they were here.

It was what was needed for a night sleep since spent most of time in parks. I like that the security guard took temp and gave you bracelet. The room was clean for the most part the night stand had something sticky. Bed were comfy.

Had no issue with cleanliness of room. Liked the bath mat that was provided - nice touch (most chains do not provide this). Only drawback was the coffeemaker - did not really work the way that it shold have. Have stayed at this location many, many years ago when another chain was the owner and, this time, the experience was a vast improvement over the past one(s).

I was traveling with my service dog with a friend of mine. The front desk made an effort to place us in close rooms. My room smelled like humid (even wearing a mask you would smell it!), but the worst was that carpet was stained, mini refri was dirty on the outside, furniture was unclean and I could see handprints on the door to the vanity and bathroom. Plus found hairs in the sheets of the beds. Totally disgusting!
