At this enchanting treehouse, you can go to sleep and wake up to viewing the amazing Pitons and sweeping Caribbean ocean. The Treehouse Hideaway Villa II is located in a prime area, just up the road from the highly acclaimed Jade Mountain Resort and the Anse Chastanet beach, known for its excellent diving and snorkeling. The villa is also located not far from Soufriere town, a fishing village known as the jumping off point for numerous scenic activities and adventures.

Covid-19 Note: As of early November, 2020 both of our Treehouse Villas are Covid-19 certified with the St. Lucia government and we are actively hosting guests. Our guests just need to register with the St. Lucia tourism web site and follow the official guidelines of travel to the island.

Special note: If you are a healthcare or front-line worker and would like to travel to St. Lucia for a much needed getaway and rest, contact us about a special discount for travel January - March, 2021.

This fully furnished 2 bedroom villa is your home away from home. The unique and open architecture of this villa allows you to live in the tree line and enjoy nature to its fullest. Spend hours on the open deck, enjoying the sweeping views, feeding the birds and flycatchers (birds), and dining on the expansive deck while enjoying amazing views of the Pitons.

This is the perfect villa to enjoy a special occasion such as an anniversary, birthday, or other special event, including a small wedding. If you have a larger group, you can rent the sister property next door, the Treehouse Hideaway Villa I, which sleeps 2 to 3. The two villas are separated by lush tropical gardens, ensuring that you'll have all the privacy that you need for your wonderful stay.

The owners have long time connections to the island. They spend a lot of time on the island and can help you with all of your unique planning needs. Our goal at the Treehouse villas is to make sure that you can have the perfect local experience and enjoy your stay in ways that you can't by staying at one of the resorts.

The villa comes with a complete staff that is available to make sure that you can have the best possible experience in the area. The house manager, Charmaine, is known all throughout the area as the "queen" of hospitality and staying at the Treehouse allows you to enjoy local meals that are expertly prepared by her team. Charmaine can also help you plan your trip and help you with booking any of the popular activities, from climbing the Gros Piton to hiking the famous Tet Paul Trail to snorkeling and diving adventures to sunset sailing around the Pitons to visiting local area artists to dinning at the top resorts, hotels, and local restaurants.

About the Treehouse Hideaway Villa II

This villa is the sister property to the Treehouse Hideaway Villa I. This villa is a complete 2 bedroom, 2 bath, open architecture home on two floors. The first floor provides a one bedroom, one bath space with open air deck that provides sweeping views of the ocean and Pitons. Your first thought when you arrive on the deck is, "I better get out my camera, take a photo of this, and post it on Instagram!"

The second floor provides a cozy 1 bedroom suite and full bath. This floor provides easy access to the lush gardens and refreshing plunge pool, a great spot to work

on your tan and relax with a drink or catch up on your beach reading. Outside you can also enjoy the special outdoor shower.

On the top floor, the main bedroom features a cozy king size bed, air conditioner (if you need it), and plenty of closet space to store your clothes and belongings. The adjoining full bathroom features a large shower. In the living area you'll find a futon couch (that can also be used for sleeping) and an entertainment area that provides a smart tv, music system, and full wifi that works nicely throughout the property. The full featured kitchen provides plenty of counter space, full size fridge, oven/stove, microwave, and all the appliances you'll need including a juicer (to take advantage of all the local tropical fruits available), blender, toaster, coffee maker and grinder, and even a state of the art air fryer perfect for making fried plantains or local chicken.

The bottom floor space provides plenty of privacy for a second set of guests (friends, relatives, etc.) Here you'll find a queen size bed, a full bath, and a little working area for making coffee and warming up meals with the included induction burner. The space also provides a small fridge.

Treehouse I vs. Treehouse II

The Treehouse I villa is a little smaller than Treehouse II. It's designed for a single traveler, a couple, or a couple and a guest. The Treehouse II villa is a little larger with a top and bottom floor. It's a perfect villa for a couple or two couples, sharing a special time together. The kitchen in Treehouse II is a bit larger and futures more working space and appliances. Both Treehouse come with their own private plunge pools and the villas are separated by very lush gardens ensuring that there is maximum privacy between the villas. Both villas can be rented together to support a group of 6+, for a special stay with good friends and family.

New food service: We also now offer a grocery shopping service and a custom meal delivery service (Charmaine's Creole Kitchen) for our guests. You can order groceries or complete lunches and/or dinners. This is a good way to experience the excellent local cuisine.

About the Owners

Keith & Cynthia, in addition to being Superhosts, have been long time guests at the Treehouses for years. When the villas become available for purchase they jumped right in and now they are happy to offer their hosting expertise to visitors to St Lucia. Both Keith & Cynthia are professional artists and are often involved with the local artists and craftspeople on the island. They love to share their experiences and contacts with all of their guests, so always ask if we can help make your trip as special as possible.

Our goal in hosting is to make sure every guest can experience all of the special things that St Lucia has to offer but we also want you to experience the island through the eyes of a local. We are always striving to make the Treehouse villas a really special place--the kind of place where our guests will want to come back over and over. Much in the way that we experienced St Lucia the first few times we visited.

    Amazing View

The view from this property was stunning, the pictures don't even do it justice. The property itself was also lovely, very well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. The road to get here was a bit interesting.... It is a bit secluded, which is exactly what we wanted. Very close to Anse Chastanet beach.

Beautiful villa for our family trip

My husband and I stayed at the Treehouse II with our children, ages 5 and 9. The place is beautiful and well-maintained. The view is absolutely stunning and much more magical than the photos! The large deck off the back of the villa was our favorite place to relax and the kids also enjoyed the plunge pool. Keith, Charmaine, and the rest of the staff were very helpful. The location is great and close to many activities, hiking, and beaches. We rented our own car and felt comfortable driving around the island. Overall, we had an amazing trip and would recommend this rental to couples and families looking for an adventure and a private place to stay.

    Just Perfect

Wow. I've stayed in numerous rentals across numerous countries, and for the most part they've all been nice, but the Treehouse was just on another level. The views, beauty and cleanliness of the property are somehow better than the pictures. The attention to details and recommendations provided by Keith and his staff was above and beyond anything I've experienced at a vacation rental. Our first trip to St. Lucia would not have been anywhere close to the same without their help. Loved the adventurous drive up and down the road in our rental vehicle - I'd definitely recommend renting one. Big thanks to Keith, Charmaine and the whole Treehouse staff! We'd love to come back.

Great home base for exploring St Lucia

Stayed Dec 2019 for 4 days. Loved this property and so glad we stayed here. Pictures are accurate - the house and view are amazing. Keith was very responsive before the trip. Our flight was delayed arriving late in the evening and Charmaine was there to greet us with a re-heated dinner that was excellent. Could gush on a huge essay, but here are short notes: - Used the house drivers which was much easier/safer than driving - definitely recommend - House had an office-style water cooler, and provided a cell-phone for calling staff/drivers - Plenty of bug coils/candles - mosquitoes not a problem, other bugs not either if you left most lights off at night - A/C in bedroom worked great and let us shut up the house for noise insulation as much as temp control - Awesome rain-forest shower - Their A/V cabinet has a lock and key you take for putting away your valuables during the day since you don't want to shut the house up - Charmaine doesn't work Sundays but still called to check on us - Road to house is an adventure - thus glad we used drivers - House had bananas, flashlights, sunscreen (most likely left from other guests - we added to stash), shampoo/conditioner - Walk to Anse Chastenet beach is easy. - Two small cons 1) Back of house is closer to Anse Chastenet road than I thought - maybe 40 feet above the road leading to hotel. Cars have to go slow but you do hear them go by occasionally. Not a big deal, but also why AC was a plus 2) Sound travels from neighbors and Treehouse 1. During day someone would have music playing, but not a problem at night

Nice view, and refreshing plunge pool with gorgeous plants all around!

The Treehouse II was a lovely place to visit. The view is breathtaking on the deck, and the plunge pool and hang out spot on the lower deck as very nice. There is plenty of space for 4 people. The locals were very nice and helpful. Bring lots of cash for tips! Everyone on the island knows one another. There is a long hike up and down steep hills to Anse Chastanet Resort and back. We decided to rent a jeep-like vehicle on the second day. We like the freedom of going anywhere without calling and waiting on a taxi to arrive. Driving on this island is quite an adventure! Our favorite part of the stay was our visit to the Botanical Gardens with our guide "Alexander the Great" or "The walking Internet". He knew everything about every plant on the island including its classification and origin. We were quite impressed with his knowledge of the history of the island as well. We also loved the local coffee shop and our visits with Zaka and his lovely family. The coffee is quite addicting! We decided to do a land and sea tour. We went to Sugar Beach, which was the best snorkel spot, and many other places on the island. We even did an ATV ride, which included a hike on the Enbas Saut Waterfall and trail. It was very secluded, which was nice. The waterfall is in the middle of the rain forest. It was nice. I have to say this island is not for the physically unfit. There are lots of steps and steep hills through the trails and every road. Our only complaint about the Treehouse is the lack of Air conditionaing. It was hot every day, and there was no relief inside the Treehouse II. There is a small window unit in the bedrooms with a timer. 6 pm- 8am. That would be my husband's alarm clock every day. All in all, our trip was great! I never felt unsafe. This is one of the most beautiful places in the world. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to be there and experience this place.

    Important Information to know!

We were disappointed the week prior to arriving because the owners did not tell us about the 7pm curfew or the COVID restrictions until it was too late to cancel. I think you should know all the information before you book! The treehouse villa is nice, has great views and has what you need for the week. The walk down to Hummingbird beach is around a mile down a pretty steep hill. The beach is okay but it has great views and the locals who are there daily are very friendly. Some of the better beaches are not accessible due to COVID which was disappointing. We could not rent a car which was also disappointing. The drivers charged us a lot of money and I think more than usual to make up for lost money due to COVID. We were told we had to have a driver to go everywhere but we found that the locals in Soufriere were glad to have us and did mind us walking through town and going grocery shopping, farmers market shopping, etc. Even the police waved at us. As long as you wear your mask in town you can go anywhere. The curfew is 7pm which was not great but you can still go to other resorts to eat as long as you make it there by 7 pm. We went to the Ladera and Hotel Chocolat restaurants and thought they were good but not great for the amount you spend. We did enjoy Calle Blanc restaurant which is in walking distance from the treehouse. I recommend you talk to the locals and arrange tours through them and not Charmaine. Charmaine quoted us a boat tour that was four times the amount we paid after walking to the tour company and arranging it ourselves. Due to the lack of tourist prices are negotiable. We were able to partner with our neighbors in the other treehouse to share tours and car rides. Also, I recommend you grocery shop on your own so you know what your getting. I also recommend you call to make your own dinner reservations so you can ensure they are made then let Charmaine know as an FYI. I recommend chartering a catamaran or boat to go Marigot Bay and to see some of the nice resort beaches. I thought the best snorkeling was at Sugar Beach. The Gros Piton hike is not hard but a nice workout with great views at the end. We loved the mud bath and sulpher springs as well. Do both the hike and the springs in the same day as they are close to each other. We would definitely visit St. Lucia again!

Great Villa in the Trees Above Anse Chastenet with Beautiful View of the Ptions

Treehouse II is a very nice small villa up the mountain above Anse Chastenet. The road is pretty rough getting up to it but once there the view is fantastic. Charmaine does a great job as a manager for the property and is always available to help in any way she can.

    Treehouse Bliss

My wife and I stayed in the Treehouse Villa II for our honeymoon in April of 2019 and we would not have changed a thing about the experience. From the beginning, Keith was super helpful with any questions we had about the listing as well as about the island. He was able to answer everything in a timely manner. As for the property and experience, it is exactly as advertised. The view from the deck is really unbelievable as I could've just stared all day. The pool are was great for relaxing and cooling off. Charmaine and everyone else made our stay feel very welcome and her meal on the first night was so delicious. We will be referring the Treehouse to anyone interested in St. Lucia. Great vibes :) Bob
