    Neglected and unkept
    Staff "seemed" friendly, and the hot breakfast still being served every morning was a plus, but the hotel aside from the mainfloor itself, and the breakfast / cafeteria area was not very clean at all. There are also some unseemly characters and associated activities going on at this establishment that make not only responsible adults weary, but also children, and yes it is that bad that children can plainly see it for themselves. Rooms are large, equipped with small refrigerator, microwave, and the A/C was cold, just not very clean. The inside of the bathroom door to the shower and toilet area was dripping with some filthy residue (looked like urine) left from years of consistently being overlooked, and left uncleaned, as well as the bathtub, previous guests hairs left in the shower and on the walls is not good. I can deal with other guests and the fact that people have the personal freedom to choose to be self destructive in their behavior, but cleanliness is a must have, and this establishment scores very low points in that category. The building is older, and needs some upkeep, rooms, as well as hotel grounds, this would be expected when one discovers that this place is older, but I have been in much older places that are much better kept. Location is very close to the highways, and the twin cities Festus and Crystal City. Once again, staff "seemed" courteous and polite, but I perceive an oppressive atmosphere, lack of oversight, and application in areas mentioned.

    Not worth the $$$
    The hotel was dirty in general. We didn't have any bed sheets in the room & the room's a/c wasn't on so it was 80+ degrees when we entered the room. Once housekeeping did come up to put the bed sheets on they left the door open afterwards. The hot breakfast was gone before 9am & not many choices to choose from anyways. We did have friendly staff but that was about the only thing nice about our stay.

    The staff was very helpful and polite. The location is convenient, but the establishment does not represent what I have come to expect from the Quality Inn brand. The facility is in so serious attention, cleaning, remodeling, and maintenance. It is very run down in every aspect.

    The carpets could be replaced but the hotel is really pretty and the sheets smelled wonderful. Bed was comfortable. Took awhile to get hot water in the sink. The staff was great and very helpful. Loved the breakfast.

    Run Far Far away from here
    We were checked into a room that had not been cleaned. Then offered another room that they said was the same just on another floor. Went to that room and it was a double bed and not the king that we had booked. Went back to the front desk again and were told tough luck that's all we had. they refused to allow us to speak with the manger. Going back to our room we discovered a dirty diaper left in our room. There were exposed wires in the game room. Employee's propped the side doors open several times during our stay which could have lead to safety issues. We would have left except for the fact we had several family members also staying here.

    Could it have been worse?
    Here are a few of the many issues we experienced during our stay: 1. The comforters on the king sized beds were only queen sized. 2. Our room was not clean enough for a regular hotel, much less one during quarantine... 3. Our door didn’t close by itself, or at all unless it was forced and you can see the light all the way through the door. 4. The swimming pool floor was not maintained at any point. 5. The keys kept not working because they were incorrectly programmed twice. We consistently had to get them fixed. 6. The only “notification” we got that housekeeping was cancelled and we had to get our own towels was an 8.5x5.5 piece of paper on the front desk. 7. When we did go to get towels, even when we warned them we were coming, they didn’t have them and had to go get them and at one point we’re basically out. 8. When I checked out, the front desk person asked about our stay and how we liked it. So, I attempted to provide my feedback. She was EXTREMELY rude to me and would not hear any issues without providing excuses.

    A perfect 10...For grossness!
    The absolute dirtiest hotel I have ever been in. We went through 4 rooms before settling for the least gross option. cigarette burns, blood stains, hair and dirt. That was just what was on the comforters! It was cheap, the receptionist was friendly but in a time where things should be cleaner than ever, I am surprised they are allowed to be open.

    Not happy....but I’m not mad
    We were first given room keys that didn’t work. I returned them and they gave me new keys that didn’t work. I returned them again and the front desk worker said that she needed to give me a new room because the keys don’t work for that room. This requires change of inconvenience due to heat and all of our luggage. New room was clean. The door only locked with deadbolt which was fine. Ice machines were all broken except one....again the working one was fine it was just inconvenient. TV doesn’t work. It will not turn on. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone to fix it. After more than a half hour we went to front desk. She said she was only one working, she was overwhelmed. She handled it well and refunded our room. The next morning we had to leave for softball at 6:30. Breakfast started at 7. The gentleman host went out of his way to get us cereal and bagels before actual hours. That was very kind.
