The property was clean, comfortable bed and modern tv/Wi-Fi. Small complex but convenient (1/2 mile) to beach and restaurants. Owner is very accomodating to our pets. While the condo is dated (dark paneling/one piece fiberglass tub shower), it was in good shape considering the hurricane damage around town. Great for a quick weekend, no fuss.

Mustang Isle Condo
I stayed in a cute little condo with a homey feel. All paneling on walls with a king bed. Everything was very clean and easy to use. Adequate kitchen and supplies. Bath was small but very usable with hot water that lasted through the entire shower. Parking is close by the unit and the unit has wifi and tv/cable with a dvd player. Considering the costs down here the unit was very cost effective. Best thing down here are the music venues on a weekly basis. You can listen to/dance and enjoy 50s-60s, country and a mixed bag other times. Pick up a copy of the free local paper, "The Island Moon." to find out more of the local entertainment. I wanted to play pickleball and they have courts in the local park but due to the wind it is a very challenging game. Great tennis courts at the high school and a local municipal heated pool. Restaurants have been reopening since the hurricane and seafood is everywhere. Since I have been here much of the debris has been removed from the streets and many businesses are open or nearly open. This is also birders paradise with the winter flock of Whooping Cranes and many other species just a few miles away. You can also travel a few miles to Corpus Christy and find almost all of the big city chain stores. Port Aransas is a great place to be in the winter. I am coming back next year.
