Stuck in LA w/2 kids,hotel cancelled paid resrvn.
I booked this room and paid a week in advance. My reservation was confirmed and the hotel sent me welcome texts and responded to my requests for early check-in. When I arrived, they told me that my credit card had been denied (my credit card had already been billed a week prior to trip and charges were already paid off), they said that my reservation had thusly been cancelled and that they had no rooms available for me. My family had to sit at the Starbucks next door for 4 hours while finding a new room elsewhere and waiting for my elderly mother's flight to leave at 11:30PM from LAX, the very reason we booked that particular hotel was because she was leaving from there. We don't know why they did not honor our Hotels.cpm booking, but we ended up driving 36 miles for another room, because it was a holiday weekend and we could find nothing else.

Double-charge parking! Stay Away from this hotel
Under no circumstances should you subject yourself to the atrocious double-charging practices at Holiday Inn. The unscrupulous actions of this establishment, where they not only charge parking fees on your bill but also at the kiosk, are beyond belief. I feel compelled to share my harrowing experience to spare others from enduring the same injustice. Upon settling my bill at check-out, I was stunned to discover that I had been charged for parking, despite the fact that I had already paid the parking fee at the kiosk upon leaving the hotel premises. How could a supposedly reputable hotel resort to such deceitful tactics, exploiting guests who trust them with their hard-earned money? In an attempt to rectify this blatant double-charge, I brought the matter to the attention of the assistant front office manager. They assured me that they would investigate the issue and get back to me promptly. However, to my dismay, they never followed up as promised. It was evident that their pledge to resolve the matter was nothing more than empty words, leaving me feeling deceived and betrayed. The lack of accountability and complete disregard for customer satisfaction displayed by the staff and the hotel as a whole is utterly disgraceful. You should explore other accommodation options that prioritize honesty, transparency, and customer satisfaction. There are numerous reputable hotels in the area that will not subject you to such underhanded tactics and will treat you with respect.
