Convenient to the highway
Rooms and furnishings are new and sleek. Loved having a Starbucks just a few steps across the parking lot, and an Old Chicago Pizza connected to the hotel. Great for travelers passing through.

Mostly awesome
I was pleasantly surprised to find out the hotel had likely gone through a recent renovation. The public areas and rooms were updated and it looks like the outdoor pool area was new. The only negatives I observed were housekeeping staff knocking on my door multiple times even though I hadn’t checked out and the fact that they had dehumidifiers everywhere. Something isn’t right with the HVAC system.

Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced
When i entered the Hotel, i noticed the required Facemask Sign. I am not an advocate of wearing masks, but am willing to follow the protocol if it is enforced. When i walked to the Front Counter, there was a man in the Vending area located directly beside the Front Desk and he was not wearing a Facemask. Another man was walking out of the Hotel and he was not wearing a Facemask either. Neither of these are any of my concern, but i did notice. When the gentleman behind the desk finally came out to check me in, i gave him my license and credit card as normal and he asked me if i had a mask. I replied that i had one in the truck and he told me that i needed to get it before checking in the Hotel. I stated that there was a guy standing right beside us in the Vending area that did not have on a mask either. He told me to not worry about anyone but myself ! i replied that i would not leave my credit card and license with him while i went to the truck to get my Facemask. As i went to my truck, i stopped at the Front Door as the guy at the Vending Machine walked up to pay for his items and the gentleman at the Front Desk took his money and served him even though he did not have a Facemask on. While this was happening, another person walked through the lobby without a Facemask as well. I went to my truck and got my Facemask, walked in the Hotel with it in my fornt pocket. The gentleman took my credit card and license again and told me that he would not check me in.

Overall clean, however we found wrappers on the side of the bed and when I wiped the floor area it was really dirty. I would definitely recommend mopping floors with a mop not a swiffer sweeper.

Moist wet hotel rooms are not acceptabe for guests
They had the heat on in the hallways of the 3rd floor. The HVAC units look to be 20 year old mini splits. The room was set to Luke warm. There was moisture on everything in our room. This was the most uncomfortable I have ever been in a hotel. The main lobby floor had a on, but not the 3rd floor. And the hotel was absolutely filthy.

The lobby has been updated to make the hotel look nice, the hallways give it a 70’s appeal with the outdated carpet. The rooms need to updated as well the only good thing I can say is that the A/C works...
