FEELING ROYALTY - 5 stars
Thank you for a wonderful stay at RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL TOKYO. Thank you for your housekeeping team for not only cleaning and making up our beds but also changing the beds with FRESH, CLEAN LINENS AND BEDDINGS and supplying us with toiletries EVERYDAY. The rooms are very spacious. We've always enjoyed the FREE 2 bottled water everyday! We really felt royalty during our stay. The beds are firm and really comfortable and always have a good night sleep. Nice peaceful and quiet location too. The buffet breakfast at Dining Ferio was amazing! A lot of variety of delicious food, fresh fruits, drinks (coffee, milk, fruit juices). Free breakfast came with our room reservation which was a plus - booked 2 rooms for 7 nights stay. It was amazing! The free hotel shuttle bus that takes us to Takadanobaba Station and back to hotel was a big help to go out shopping, dining or whatever you want to do. I would definetely stay back to this hotel again when back in Tokyo. Special mention to Kim at the reception for a smooth very late check-in. She even helped us with our luggages and made sure we get to our room. Highly recommend RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL TOKYO and all other Rihga Royal Hotels for your next comfortable stay. A+ EXCELLENT SERVICE. Exceeded my expectations. Hotel Lobby view is exceptional. The Tea Garden (located adjacent to the lobby) is also a nice place to sit, relax and unwind after a long day out. Thank you so much.

Great hotel if you can speak Japanese
This is an older hotel. The interior can use renovation. However, the staff keeps it very clean and comfortable. That being said, the fact that staff's command of English is an issue. We had trouble communicating with them, aside from the front desk staff. Furthermore, the location is not convenient because it is not close to train or metro stations. Hotel tries to compensate by running shuttle service. The frequency of the service is limited during the weekdays. I am guessing that this hotel is more catered to Japanese business travelers?

Amazing service, close to Waseda University
Excellent service. Very close to Waseda University which was a big advantage when moving my son out of his dorm. Photos of the park at sunset from my hotel room should be in a travel magazine. Hotel breakfast, while not included, was well worth the extra fee.
