Amazing but in need of updates
Hotel was stunning, views were incredible, and beach was a 2 minute walk away. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed dinner at the restaurant with amazing views of the sunset. The only downside is that the hotel is definitely starting to show its age. A small update to the rooms would go a long way. Our shower was not very hot and the shower head was leaking and sprayed in every direction, it could have used a fresh coat of paint, and the window wouldn’t close completely so we had some ants and moths in the bathroom. Not major complaints, we understand that bugs are a part of life in costa rica. But definitely little things that kept this hotel just short of its incredible potential. Definitely still highly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days while in Nosara. Great place to stay, our room had a gorgeous patio that looked out on the ocean and it was close to everything. Delicious breakfast and super friendly staff. We would absolutely stay here again.

I really liked the vibe here - it's a nice place, and it's super laid-back at the same time. The service is great and you an always get what you need, but no one is all over you watching for that moment you need something. Personally, that worked really well for us. The rooms were very spacious, and the daily cleaning was well done. The fresh coffee is always available and it's delicious. The breakfasts are fantastic too. The only thing I would like to see more of is the actual history of this unique property! Stayed 5 nights at the beginning of March 2020.
