    Very relaxing weekend stay

Really enjoyable and relaxing stay. Property and rooms are very well maintained. There was a feeling of peace and contentment and really no noise from other residents. Place is 1-2 km from Pemberton town and Gloucester National Park. So, we were able to walk to town and visit the national park to climb the tree and do the hikes (without incurring national park fees). Rooms are modern and well maintained. We also really enjoyed the coffee machine, as I could have non-instant coffee every day. The reception has library with lots of books and games which allowed us to further unwind.

We thought the room would be bigger they had measurements in feet not metres so I had mis-read size, as we have been metric for many years I presumed they had a typo 🙄 We did not get our welcome drink. But the staff made up for these hiccups.

    Mid Spring Weather

Nice location, but room was small with no room to sit other than on the bed. Room was cold at night and unable to close window from inside the room because of fly screens. Also no curtains on windows just blinds which offers poor insulation against the cold. All probably OK in warmer weather when you can use outside seating area. Not so good on cold days.

This was a stay with many highs and lows. We stayed in a studio room which had a feeling of cheapness about it and was overpriced for what was provided, however has the potential to be so much better. The whole resort seems to be suffering from an identity crisis. Our room had a kitchen for self catering but they felt the need to sell Aldi wine, Coles water & airplane slippers for inflated prices - why? We didn't want housekeeping, so didn't put the sign out, but returned to find the curtains left open, so everyone could see into our room, the beds made but no towels or anything else changed - again why? This isn't a hotel. On a positive note, the room was a good size, the bed comfortable with a good shower - no bathmat and children's size towels - again cheapness. The highlight of our stay was the amazing grounds, it's just a shame that no information of where we could go was offered on registration. There is a restaurant, which we found out about at the Tourist Information Centre, again, not on registration. The rooms need freshening up, the hotel style stuff needs removing, some local information provided and
