Absolutely fantastic!
Everything about Cartesiano experience was beyond expectations. The rooms are sound proof, the lenin is luxurious, the restaurants serve amazing food, the neighborhood is spectacular and the wellness activities are mindful. The views from our balcony was beautiful. In all a 5 star experience. Kudos to the staff!

Would stay again
Had stayed at another property about a mile away but wanted a couple of nights here for the spa. The massages were so good that we booked a 2nd one the following day. The spa facilities were nice, although there wasn’t an actual (hot and cold) baths as advertised. The jacuzzi with jets was cooler water while the small pool was warmer water. Would have preferred the opposite. The outside pool was nice but the weather didn’t cooperate for us to enjoy. The hotel overall was very nice and modern and the restaurant had great staff and good food. They offer daily event classes in the mornings and afternoons but we weren’t able to take advantage. Walking distance to great shopping and restaurants and to the Cathedral and center of town.

Perfect location. Clean nice walk able area. I would give 5 stars except I felt the concierge was not helpful. I asked for taxi from airport before arriving and they gave huge inflated price and wanted a bank transfer. Taxis and Uber very easy and cheap there. Also when I wanted to do a tourist Cholula day trip they made it hard and said not available the day we wanted, but they are available all the time in the park nearby at a huge tourist office. Spa facial was nice massage but not for what we paid and asked for. So that it the only reason no 5 stars. otherwise awesome area, very clean great food. I heard breakfast was included in other guests but since we paid through expedia it was not included for us, so keep that in mind if it is important.

The staff is very attentive and offered suggestions for tours. They also offered 5 different scent aromas that all smelled so good! We chose all five, one for each night. The Spa is great too and a must, very relaxing! The views from the pool are beautiful and their restaurants are so pretty!

The hotel is in an excellent location. In Puebla there are two hotels in this category; this one and the bayan tree. The hotel despite being at minimum occupancy did not respect their deal with expedia (hotels.ca) along with my status in regards to an up grade. They only leave one bottle of water in the room - I understand they want to make money but why not leave more bottles and say they are extra and not leave the fridge empty and have to keep talking every time you want a bottle. The first room the air conditioning broke down and we were moved to another room. There is no thermostat so the air works all the time. The food was good. Comparing it with the other hotel of the same category I think I would go for the other one in the next visit. The spa therapists are excellent. The spa facilities lack some updating.

My new favorite hotel in Puebla
I almost don't want to write a review because I enjoyed the pool and spa so much that I don't want the rest of you to come and spoil it for me. But really, the place is fantastic and don't miss a hot stone massage. Only tip: if you're sensitive to white noise don't take room 42. I didn't bother changing but hotel staff showed me other rooms that very perfectly silent. 42 is one of the nicest rooms though, so choose that if such things don't bother you.

Only gave 1 small bottle of water per day per room . They charge extra for coffee refills which was served in a small cup. Overall it was a very nice hotel, with wonderful staff and very clean.
