Location is wonderful, however with such a large hotel breakfast was Hussle and bustle.. room was nice with a great view.. but weather was hot and not aircon.. we got a fan from Reception which helped. Overall we enjoyed our stay... and would come back..

Room was clean and just what we needed. Staff were helpful, however when attending for breakfast I was told ‘it’s closing’ rather than just offered a seat, when breakfast was due to be open for another hour. We then also had a small bite in the lounge area the next day, and the food took nearly 40mins. We used the spa facilities, and these are always great. The room was comfy and just as we would expect. It’s the second time we have stayed, and would go back again.

Very busy hotel but the staff coped very well BUT we were in a room a long way from the main reception and restaurants. Coming out in the dark after eating there was no lighting working and was missing in places meaning we had to feel our way back to our room. Being in the countryside it was pitch black. I cannot believe that this hasn’t been pointed out to De Vere before and they haven’t done anything about it.

Beautiful hotel with all you could need on site. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are roomy with huge, comfortable beds and come equipped with iron, board and hairdryer which was a bonus. We had a lake view ground floor room and it was perfect for a romantic weekend away in the sunshine

Everything as it should be in the room. However……anyone could have walked into the block where my room was. No security lock/keypad on the front entrance. Only screw holes where there had once been one I’m assuming. Major worry as the lighting outside not great either. This needs to be sorted as a matter of urgency. If there had been a security rating I would have given zero. The corridor carpet also very grubby. Fantastic staff all very friendly and helpful.

Very nice lakeside resort hotel. Great atmosphere, well kept property, good size room, excellent breakfast. Make sure you book a room with a view over the lake. Would have given 5 stars but for (a) the prices in the bars/restaurants, definitely pricey and (b) the quality/choices in the restaurants - would have expected better at these prices.

Brilliant!! We had a lovely time staying here with my family on our Easter Holiday. Breakfast was nice and fresh. The outdoor park was also a bonus for my young child to play. Good location to go to Cotsworld and Legoland Windsors.
