Reasonable option for short stay.

Good budget value hotel. Good for short stays. Clean room, very good water pressure in shower. Large breakfast area but food options at 8 am on a Tuesday were very limited, a few egg patties, and sausage links that were probably the last of what was put out at 6am. They did have bread, bagels and muffins. A waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, and a choice of an orange or an apple. Front desk staff were friendly. Hot tub seemed like it needed a good scrub.

There wasn’t much upkeep for things like the shower drain, the bathroom door, the water pressure was very low, the fridge moved all over in the cupboard and wasn’t securely attached, the ice machine looked like it hasn’t been serviced in over five years, there was not much in the way of ‘breakfast’ beyond waffles, the entrance/sink light didn’t work in the room. I’ve stayed in worse la quintas and I’ve def stayed in better.

The hot tub jets barely have a trickle. Bagels served at breakfast but with no cream cheese. I was charged an additional night of the pet fee. When I checked out I was told it was removed but still waiting for that charge to come off. Cleaning staff did a nice job otherwise not impressed

Probably used to be a nice hotel…

The hotel looked nice upon driving up outside, check-in was weird as the gal at the desk was very hard to understand and not very friendly. Room looked nice and spacious when we entered the evening of check-in. Bed was comfortable and furnishings were nice. Once we had a chance to look a bit closer, it just was not clean. Our sink did not drain, which made it hard to brush teeth or wash hands. Corners in the bathroom were dirty, as if there was no detailed cleaning in quite some time. As we were leaving the room in the morning it was easier to see just how dirty the hallways, doors were. The ice machine had lots of dirt/deposits on the outside. Made me not so comfortable in using the ice from the machine. The worst was when we actually got down to the breakfast area. It was just straight up dirty. Floors, tables, chairs were dirty, and I don’t mean “it was a busy morning and we haven’t had a chance to wipe them down yet” kind of dirty, they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The highchairs were just caked with old food. We got some sausage and eggs from the hot bar and realized once we sat down that they were barely lukewarm. Ironically, the refrigerator with milk and yogurt, etc., was warm. It’s unfortunate because it looked like at one point it was probably a really nice hotel, it’s obviously just been severely neglected. Disappointing for a hotel that displays the La Quinta branding.

Very nice and clean but just some minor suggestion

I only have a couple of complaints. 1. I would have liked to have watched my grandchildren playing in the pool but there were only about 3 chairs in there and they were occupied. 2. The breakfast selections were pretty limited. Our second morning there was no yogurt. Some kind of pastry would have been nice.
