Accommodation Around Rubaga Cathedral, Rubaga

"Koki hotel is the place to lodge. From the rooms to the kitchen, all is perfect. I will clodge here again next July 2026. I can't dirget the security part of it. The hotel is directly opposite the Kampala Centeal police station. The hotel sitting on a fleet of stores, makes it easy fir one to change money and shop."

"Excellent clean rooms + staff!"

"While the location is chaotic and busy the actual hotel was surprisingly good. Very nice and clean rooms to really affordable prices, The food at the hotel restaurant was really good and the staff was amazing. The only issue is to get a taxi driver to want to drive downtown where the hotel is due to the busy traffic around the area. But highly recommend this hotel as it is really good value for the money."

"This is a simple guest house in an excellent position overlooking Kampala on Namirembe hill. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. The staff are without exception friendly and helpful "

"I love it it’s really nice place."

"Yeah the spotless and the staff were amazing and welcoming "

"4 star hotel at a good price and located in Downtown "

"Compared to similar properties in Uganda I found this pricey. The staff was friendly."

"Thank you to the amazing team at the hotel! Solo female traveler coming back to my birth country for the first time. I was well cared for and all the women working here was so sweet and caring for me. Thank you so much for an amazing experience! All my love to each of you! "

"Event didn't check in"

"Peaceful and good "

"I arrived at 4am to be given a room with no hot water. I even paid extra for that early check-in only to be disappointed. I asked several times to be moved to another room and they refused. There was no hot water for 24hrs in my room. It was the most appalling experience as I had a tour at 9am that same day I arrived. The hotel is located in a part of town where you can people preaching in the middle of the night. If you're a light sleeper, its not worth it. "

"We were very happy we stayed here and would stay again. The staff went out of their way to help us and make us feel we were valued guests. We enjoyed the restaurant as well. (We expect it is better to take the rooms that are further away from the road.)"

"Team was very helpful and the location was very convinient."

"Ok"

"Amazing hotel "

"It was very hard to get parking. There was no really no accommodation. There were roaches in the hotel room, bed, bathroom. Everywhere you look they were roaches. Very bad experience"

"Personeel is vriendelijk. Hotel is gelegen op de meest vervuilende stek van Kampala. Uitlaatgassen komen kamer binnen en bezorgen permanent slechte smaak in de mond. Altijd luid lawaai, zelfs tot 2h in de nacht. Ging er weg na 1 nacht, had er 3 betaald. Eigenaar zou contact opnemen met agentschap maar deed dat blijkbaar niet."
