The centre of Coffs Harbour


The centre of Coffs Harbour offers clothing, homewares, and more, as well as essentials like supermarkets and banks. The side streets are home to original boutiques and cafés. The Coffs Central arcade has everything from exclusive teas to old-fashioned Aussie pies. When you need a caffeine hit or a bite to eat, shady City Square is right next door. Park Beach Plaza on the Pacific Highway has over 120 specialty shops and department stores under 1 roof, as well as a large food court.

Shopping near the harbor


Closer to the water you’ll find fishing, surf, and dive shops, as well as a big choice of cafés and restaurants. The Promenade shopping centre has a peaceful setting overlooking Coffs Creek, and is home to shops selling designer clothes, boutique jewelry, and exclusive homewares. Greenroom Gallery has original ocean-inspired paintings, and ethical and environmentally friendly fashion and gifts, including clothes made from bamboo and hemp fibers. Shopping in Bellingen


The picturesque riverside town of Bellingen, 30 minutes’ drive from Coffs Harbour, has a thriving creative community and an array of inviting shops, cafés, and restaurants. The Federation-era Hammond & Wheatley Emporium lures you with an eclectic mix of designer clothing, homewares, and leather goods. Heartland Didgeridoos has a huge selection of beautiful handmade instruments. The Old Butter Factory on Waterfall Way, on the approach to Bellingen and originally opened in 1906, has a leather maker, woodcrafts, handmade opal jewelry, as well as a gallery and a café.

Shops in Sawtell


The village of Sawtell, a 15-minute drive south of Coffs Harbour, is more than worth a trip. Under the giant Moreton Bay fig trees on First Avenue, you’ll find several inviting shops selling original clothing, jewelry, and more. Cooinda Gallery specializes in contemporary art from several Aboriginal communities. Nearby Toormina Gardens is a mall with an emphasis on original fashion and fresh food. When you're done shopping, First Avenue also has a great selection of cafés and restaurants.

Markets on the Coffs Coast


Whether you’re after fresh produce direct from the grower, or that special handmade gift, Coffs Harbour and the Coffs Coast has a host of lively, colourful markets. Coffs Coast Growers' Market, held every Thursday on City Square, will tempt you with locally produced fruit and vegetables, nuts, honey, smoked fish, and more. Coffs Jetty Market, on every Sunday, has artisanal jewelry, homewares, toys, as well as food. Further afield, the monthly markets in Bellingen and Dorrigo both offer handicrafts, clothing, and food, along with massage and natural therapies. There’s also live music and a buzzing atmosphere.
